Die ersten Frühlingsboten sind da ☀️🌱 Der Naturpark Falkenstein liegt im südlichen #niederösterreich im Schwarzatal in den Gutensteiner Alpen, es liegt hier kaum mehr Schnee und die #schneerosen sprießen hier schon aus dem Waldboden. Das Gebiet von 17 Hektar an den westlichen Abhängen des 1013 Meter hohen Falkensteins am Handlesberg ist als Naturschutzgebiet und Naturpark unter Schutz gestellt. Leider wars auch am "Gipfel" heute sehr neblig... aber trotzdem schön🤙🤙🤙 Der #Gaisstein ist ein 974m hoher Berg in den #GutensteinerAlpen in #Niederösterreich. Trotz seiner geringen Höhe hat die Gipfelregion alpinen Charakter, da sie sehr felsig und beinahe baumfrei ist. Es machte den Anschein als ob er tatsächlich fotografiert werden wollte und wir konnten uns das Lächeln nicht verkneifen als er auf diesem Baumstamm zu posieren begann 😅😂 zu unserem Glück war dieser Baumstamm nach hinten hin schräg abfallend und er konnte da rauf kraxeln, sonst war er nämlich recht patschert unterwegs 😅 We met this little fellow on a foggy and rainy hike through Austrias "Reichraminer Hintergebirge". Im Bereich des Steinernen Jägers und des Hauptgipfels besitzt der Berg teilweise senkrechte Wandabstürze in Richtung Norden beziehungsweise Süden, die aus massigen Rotkalken des unteren Jura gebildet werden. Der Berg bietet auf Grund seiner Lage am Nordrand der Nördlichen Kalkalpen eine gute Aussicht, besonders in Richtung Norden.
